There is truth in the statement: "It's not what you know, it's who you know."
As
a NORA member, you have access to the leading companies in the liquid
recycling industry. It is very common for a member to contact another
member to make a business arrangement or for other industry knowledge.
Numerous tools are available to members to help you take advantage of
NORA's network of over 900 liquid recycling leaders.
Networking EventsThe
relationships that are formed in face-to-face meetings continue to be
the most valuable. Whether you are reconnecting with fellow members or
meeting a member for the first time that could be a trading partner,
NORA events are where the industry comes together. NORA hosts three
events a year that you may attend. The Winter and Mid-Year Meeting are only $225 for members. Non-members may only attend one of these valuable meetings once every three years at a fee of $900.
The Annual Recycling Conference
& Trade Show attracts over 400 attendees each year and has a
registration fee set at least $1,500 lower than what non-members pay.
These three events allow you to stay on top of the issues facing your
industry and your business.
NORA Membership Directory
The
NORA Membership Directory is a powerful tool listing all NORA members
and their product lines, contact information and other pertinent data.
This resource is frequently used throughout the year as the "yellow pages"
for the liquid recycling industry. Every contact at each member company
receives a free copy of this invaluable desktop reference guide. Each
directory is a $600 value provided absolutely free to members.
NORA Provider Search
As
a NORA member, you have access to the NORA Provider Search, where
you can cross tab between service areas and services/products provided
to find trading partners.
NORA Network: Ask the Expert
The NORA Network: Ask the Expert service is available exclusively to members. If you have a question, it is likely one of the 900 contacts within the NORA membership has the answer. Members have used this service looking for regulatory advice, technical or equipment assistance or to strike a deal on used equipment.
To use this service, members should contact the NORA Headquarters Office. If NORA does not have the answer you are looking for, the association send a request for information to members via email. Most requests get a dozen responses with a few days. You can even ask or answer questions anonymously.
