NORA: Alan Gressel, long time member and founder, has passed away

With great sadness, NORA informs you that Alan Gressel passed away on Monday, November 9, 2009.

Alan was a founder of NORA and served as President of the association in 1995. He continued to participate in and serve the industry; including his latest effort in preparing an important industry report at NORA’s request.

His widow, Sonya Gressel, said, “I know he treasured his friendships within the industry. Please convey to your members my heartfelt thanks for their kind wishes.”

We were honored to have Alan participate via phone at the 25th Anniversary of NORA ceremony in late October.
