NORA Membership Reaches 350 Companies 29 companies have joined NORA in 2013
Gainesville, Virgina – (May 24, 2013) –
With the addition of 29 new members in 2013, NORA has grown
to 350 member companies.
"NORA is excited to have reached this milestone,” said Scott D. Parker, NORA
Executive Director. "The association has grown from 150 to 350 members since
2002. NORA’s Board of Directors has focused its efforts on enhancing the value
of being a member of NORA. The overwhelming response to those efforts is
confirmed by NORA’s continued growth.”
The value of NORA membership has been and will continue to
be centered on the following areas: government affairs and industry advocacy;
knowledge and education; networking and events; business development; savings;
and public relations.
"NORA’s Board of Directors has established a new plan to continue
to grow the association in order to best serve the needs of members,” Parker
said. "To do this, we will continue to expand our exceptional value to existing
members, communicate the value of membership to prospective members and
increase our international presence.”
By continuing to grow, NORA is able to keep dues as low as
possible and maximize its ability to help protect and grow companies that are
involved in the responsible recycling of used oil and related materials.
